Digital Poster Submission is now closed.
If your abstract is accepted, it will be published on the Poster Session site, and you will be allocated a total of 40 minutes of live presentation time during the Poster Session.
Just like an in-person poster session where you would stand beside your poster to present to attendees, during the Virtual Poster Session, you will “stand by” your poster via Zoom; you will be hosting your own Zoom meeting while screensharing your digital poster. You will send us the Zoom meeting link ahead of time through the Digital Poster Submission Portal, so we can put it with your poster abstract and digital poster on the Poster Session site. If an attendee is interested in your poster, the attendee can click on your Zoom link to speak with you in real-time.
Below are some guidelines that you will need to follow in order to give your presentation successfully.
What is a digital poster?
Accepted poster presenters will be required to submit their poster as an image file through the Digital Poster Submission Portal. Your poster image will then be available as a thumbnail image beside your abstract on the Poster Session site.
Basic presentation details
File size: poster image file should be no larger than 3 MB
Poster aspect ratio: we recommend 4:3 with maximum dimension 1080 x 810 px.
File formats: JPG or PNG
Presenting authors are welcome to submit additional audio (.mp3, .wma) or video (.wvm, .mp4, .mpeg) files related to their accepted posters. For example, they can submit a video of them giving their oral presentations. All additional files submitted will be reviewed and if accepted, will be published on the Poster Session site. The file size for each additional file should be no larger than 5 MB.
Setting up Zoom meeting for your live presentation
If your abstract is accepted, we will notify you through email with an assigned time slot for your live presentation. Each presenting author is responsible for setting up a Zoom meeting that matches the assigned presentation time slot. For example, if we assign you to present at 11:20 am – 12:00 pm MDT on June 25, you must create a Zoom meeting for 11:20 am – 12:00 pm MDT on June 25. You will then submit the Zoom meeting url through the Digital Poster Submission Portal along with your digital poster file. See below the two steps for setting up the requested Zoom meeting:

NOTE: If you are a newly registered Zoom account user (i.e. you signed up for a free Zoom account after April 20, 2020), you will not be able to uncheck “Require meeting password.” However, your Zoom Meeting url will embed your password (i.e. the meeting url will contain “pwd=”). Simply submit this url through the Digital Poster Submission Portal.

Privacy and proprietary information
The Poster Session site is password-protected. However, we strongly recommend presenting authors not to put any proprietary information on the digital poster or abstract.
